The Palm Beach Marina Celebrates Its First Anniversary!

This month, we’re celebrating the first anniversary of our wildly successful $40 million dollar Palm Beach Marina renovation, which transformed the old Town Docks into a cutting-edge global-grade yachting center — now that’s what we call a successful facelift, or “boat-tox!” We are pleased to accommodate vessels from sixty feet to a super-yacht-sized 295 feet. This year the Marina has flourished, thanks to the community, our employees, and of course, our slip holders! Our first-year annual and seasonal leases exceeded all expectations.

The official ribbon-cutting of the Marina took place on December 9, 2021, at the adjacent Lake Drive Park. Many individuals and groups were involved in bringing this project to fruition, including Mayor Danielle Moore; the Town Council, and Florida Inland Navigational District (FIND), specifically its Commissioner Charlie Isiminger. The Town Docks, first constructed in the 1940s, required an upgrade that would truly fit today’s world of sophisticated, luxury yachting and bring us into the 21st century — talk about “pier-pressure”.

Today, our enhanced master plan includes Bellingham concrete floating docks, a suite of technological upgrades such as high-speed Wi-Fi, enhanced shore power, and state-of-the-art security systems. The revamped 84 slips are located along the classic Australian, Brazilian, and Peruvian docks and the new 250-foot Royal Palm Dock.

Anchored in the heart of Palm Beach, its one and only public marina reflects the elegance and serenity of the community. Our renovated Marina honors the Town’s ethos and charm and provides, as essential amenities, a front-row seat to explore the heart of Palm Beach‘s glamorous history, nearby upscale Worth Avenue shopping district, and the Town's inviting seaside charm. “Our Town is known all over the world for its desirable lifestyle. The Palm Beach Marina allows patrons to partake in the highly desirable lifestyle offered by this world-renowned destination,” said Mayor Danielle Moore.

The Marina serves residents and visitors alike and offers patrons easy access to other municipal facilities, and businesses. For example, Marina patrons can enjoy complimentary access to exclusive neighboring facilities, to “dock and roll” into their favorite activity. They may play an 18-hole round of golf at the nearby oceanfront Par 3 Golf Course, work out in the fitness center at the recently updated health and wellness facilities at the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center, or play a game of tennis at the Town’s 13 premier tennis courts.

The Town remains one of the nation’s most favored travel destinations and places to relocate for those seeking to join other yacht owners with mutually sophisticated tastes. Whether you’re planning your journey south or looking for a more permanent home, we hope to see you all at the Town of Palm Beach Marina. The Town Marina is currently taking annual and transient reservations through its website www.TownofPalmBeachMarina.com. Thank you all again for a successful year; happy yachting!
