July 22, 2021 Article by: Hannah Rankine

The Town of Palm Beach is nearing completion of a multimillion-dollar renovation of its marina, reopening on 1st November 2021. The $40 million (c. €33.9 million) in upgrades and improvements will transform the classic docks into a world-class yacht centre that will welcome vessels from 18 to 90 metres (60 to 294 feet). The Town of Palm Beach Marina is currently taking seasonal (1st November to 30th April), annual (1st December to 30th November), and transient slip reservations.

The only public marina on the island of Palm Beach, it has been providing berthing for power and sail yachts since the 1940s. The new town marina will provide patrons with 84 slips, located along the classic Australian, Brazilian, and Peruvian docks, while introducing a new 76-metre (250-foot) Royal Palm Dock. Marina patrons will benefit from an enhanced master plan that includes a floating dock system while enjoying a suite of technological upgrades such as high-speed Wi-Fi, enhanced shore power, and state-of-the-art security systems. Guests will also have complimentary access to the oceanfront Par 3 Golf Course, the recently updated health and wellness facilities at the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center, and the Town’s 13 premier tennis courts.
