As we wave farewell to 2022, ’tis the “sea-sun” to reflect, give thanks, celebrate with loved ones, and of course, reserve a slip at the Town of Palm Beach Marina!
This month, we’re celebrating the first anniversary of our wildly successful $40 million dollar Palm Beach Marina renovation, which transformed the old Town Docks into a cutting-edge global-grade yachting center — now that’s what we call a successful facelift, or “boat-tox!” We are pleased to accommodate vessels from sixty feet to a super-yacht-sized 295 feet. This year the Marina has flourished, thanks to the community, our employees, and of course, our slip holders! Our first-year annual and seasonal leases exceeded all expectations.

While it may not have been a “shore” thing, our upscale “small town” island of Palm Beach, has been counting on it.

While the summer heat may be sizzling hot, so are superyachts. Publications such as The New York Times, The New Yorker and Vanity Fair have been buzzing about these massive seafaring vessels — it truly is the “gilded age” of boating. Stories have run the gamut, from the growing yacht industry, to the unique new builds and epic sizes (grande please). Talk about well-planned timing! As of November, our renovated Palm Beach Marina is now accommodating superyachts up to 294’ feet, and as the good surfers we are, we’re riding the cusp of the wave.
This summer, Palm Beach has it all, from pristine beaches to world-class shopping, but one pastime we’re the most interested in is...golf! Florida’s quintessential hot and humid summer with tropical deluges of afternoon rain is just around the corner, and everyone here at the Town of Palm Beach Marina knows the best escape is… the ocean! Relax on your yacht deck with the salty ocean breeze in your hair and a drink in hand, or dive into your “toy box” chock-full of the latest and greatest aquatic playthings to cool down on and in the water.

Our state-of-the-art Palm Beach Marina has another great amenity beyond its high-end, spacious, well-run facility. It's got the amazing island Town at its doorstep. For the last 100 years, the 16-mile secluded barrier island has been effortlessly casual, with small-town character and upscale sophistication. Drop your anchor, step off your yacht and grab your bike or walking shoes, join us for this fascinating history tour for the day.
The sun is glistening on the seas and Palm Beachers are celebrating their passion for boating and all things related to being out on the water. It’s fun and relaxing but comes with a certain amount of responsibility and safety considerations as well.
